The Process

 Step One – the plan

Once we discuss your needs, we can decide whether an on-location session or studio session is best.  Call me at 203-274-5975 or e-mail me at to book and plan your session.

Step two – the shoot

The shoot will be fun and relaxed!  Here’s a rough guide to how long to allow for your session:

  • For family photography at your location, allow about 1 ½ hours to 2 hours for our shoot.
  • For family photography at my studio, allow about 1- 1 ½ hours.
  • For corporate and other headshots, allow from 30 minutes to an hour.

Keep in mind that shooting time will vary, depending on many factors, including number of outfits; patience of babies and pets; variety of looks needed, etc.

 Step Three - Processing

You don’t have to worry about this step! But know that I process every photo personally. I review, examine, edit, prepare re-touching options, and more.  I take the best images and process them as works of art.

Step Four - Selection

From four days to a week for typical shoots, (longer for event photography), you will receive an e-mail with your online, mobile-friendly gallery link.  You will be able to download web-optimized images directly from the gallery.  If you have purchased full-resolution images, I will send them to you separately.

I am happy to take care of minor edits, re-crops, etc. after you’ve viewed the gallery and made selections.

I also do printing, using archival-quality inks and papers, and offer a variety of books and albums from your session.

I can also come to you, or you can return to me, to review your images and so I can show you various ways that you can enjoy your images, through products such as wall art, books or albums, videos, etc.
